Services we don't charge for
These are covered by the NHS if you're eligible. Walk in or call — you won't see them on the price list above because they don't cost you anything.
- NHS prescriptions
- Same-day dispensing. NHS charge £9.90 per item if you pay.
- Repeat prescriptions
- We manage them for you so you never run out.
- Prescription delivery
- Free to Bear Flat, Combe Down, and Odd Down.
- Pharmacy First consultations
- Walk-in treatment for earache, impetigo, insect bites, shingles, sinusitis, sore throat, and UTI (women 16–64).
- Flu vaccination
- Free if you're 65+, pregnant, or have certain conditions.
- New medicine service
- Free check-ins when you start a new long-term medication.
- Stop smoking support
- Free one-to-one help and NRT to quit.
- Over-the-counter advice
- Ask our pharmacist anything — no appointment needed.
