We're starting a new series on the blog: shining a light on the businesses that make Bear Flat what it is. First up is The Bear — the pub at the bottom of Wells Road that's been here longer than most of us.
The Bear is the kind of place where you can walk in alone and leave having had a conversation. They do good food, keep their beer well, and actually know their regulars by name. Sound familiar? We like to think we have the same approach, just with fewer pints and more paracetamol.
